Our faculty brings together international experience and professional expertise. Many of our teachers have taught in international schools around the world, bringing global perspectives, deep subject knowledge, and proven classroom practice to ISH.

Small class sizes enable teachers to know each student well, personalize learning, and provide the right balance of support and challenge. Through collaboration across grade levels and subject areas, our teachers design engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and independence as confident, independent learners..

Professional Learning

Professional learning is an integral part of teaching at ISH. Our faculty regularly engage in workshops, conferences, and collaborative professional learning to refine their practice, strengthen their expertise and remain current with developments in international education.

Our teachers engage in ongoing professional learning through opportunities including:

  • International Baccalaureate (IB) workshops and professional development
  • Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA) conferences and workshops
  • The Association of International Schools of India (TAISI) conferences
  • Principals' Training Center (PTC) institutes
  • New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accreditation workshops
  • New Faculty Institute (NFI) conferences I think these are NESA
  • School-based professional learning led by educational leaders and visiting specialists

This commitment to continuous growth ensures that ISH students benefit from current educational research, internationally recognised teaching practices, and a learning experience that prepares them for success in a global environment.
