The school year usually runs from mid-August until the beginning of mid-June, with 180 teaching days. It is divided into two semesters with a mid-year vacation period from mid-December to beginning-January.

The school day finishes at 2.30 for all pupils except for those in Reception, who finish at 12.00.

The day consists of seven teaching periods, generally of forty-five minutes each.

Students can enrol in After School Activities, which are conducted between 14:40 and 15:40.

Students who are late miss vital parts of the programme so it essential for them to arrive on time.

The Morning Snack Break is a short break during morning school, from 10:15 to 10:45 in elementary and 10:25 – 10:45 in the secondary school.

Lunch Time is from 12:15 to 12:45 in the elementary and 12:15 to 13:00 in the secondary school.
