Communication
Communication is important to us. ‘ISH NEWS’, a weekly newsletter, issued every Friday during the school year, is used to communicate effectively with our parents and the community on a regular basis. This newsletter is also available on-line on our school website www.ishyd.org.
The main purpose of the newsletter is to keep parents informed about school activities and to announce future events. Parents should also view the school’s website regularly for updated school news and events.
For any general information about the school bus, lunches or other inquiries, please contact the school office. Educational inquiries should be directed to the class or subject teacher. Communication can be sent through your child’s student diary, an e-mail to the teacher or a call to the office.
ISH invites their community to participate in and actively support their children’s education. Should you feel a face-to-face meeting is needed, please contact your child’s respective teacher or the office to make an appointment. The teacher should always be the first person to contact before you take the issue or concern to a higher authority. We encourage parents/guardians to make appointments prior to meeting directly with a teacher to ensure that the teacher can set aside adequate time for a proper discussion.
