School Advisory Committee (SAC)

The formal responsibility of managing ISH lies with the Director General of ICRISAT. ICRISAT has established an Advisory Committee to help evolve the strategy, define the policy guidelines and operational framework for ISH in collaboration with the Principal and also support the Principal in managing the school.

The Advisory Committee consists of seven members.The composition of the Committee is as follows:

 

  • One member appointed by the Director General of ICRISAT as a management representative.
  • Six members are selected  by the Board from the ISH parent community.

 

The School’s Charter, the School’s Philosophy, the Advisory Board and the rules and regulations of ICRISAT guide the running of the school.

 


Ravi

Ravi Paruchuri

Ravi Paruchuri is currently Executive Leader at Express Scripts (an American Fortune 100 company) and Country Head for India and Philippines. Prior to his current role, he was Director of Information Technology at Express Scripts, Saint Louis, MO. Before Joining Express Scripts, he held leadership roles at Monsanto, Saint Louis, MO, USA and Siemens, Hyderabad, India.

Ravi obtained Master of Information Management Executive degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, MO, USA and Master of Business Administration from Department of Business Management, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.

Ravi is married to Lakshmi and they have two children at ISH – Rishab Paruchuri (Grade 7) and Simritha Paruchuri (Grade 2), who have been studying at ISH for the past 5 years.

Remko Vochteloo

Remko Vochteloo

Remko holds an Executive MBA degree from Business School Lausanne and is the current Country Leader and Director of Operations for Deloitte Netherlands in India. Before joining Deloitte he was the CFO of Andersen Netherlands and was part of the Board of MZH Foundation, a group of five Montessori schools. Remko is passionate about development work in Asia, he has worked in the field of sustainable forest management in Indonesia, as an English teacher in Cambodia and founded a non-profit organization to support unprivileged children in Cambodia. Remko’s children have attended ISH for the last six years.

SS Sharat Kumar

Sharat comes with a vast experience in the field of Human Resource &
Operations of over 25 years across South Asia, South East Asia, and the Middle East. Following his post graduation from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Sharat has worked in various capacities in the HR and administration domain across the industry ranging from FMCG, IT to non profit organizations. Currently at ICRISAT, he heads the Human Resources & Operations.

During his leisure, Sharat can be found enjoying photography and adventure sports.


Ram Vasudevan

Ram received his LLM from Columbia University School of Law, his MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University and his BL from the University of Madras,and is the Founder of QuisLex, widely acknowledged by the industry at large as a top Global alternate legal services firm. Before QuisLex,Ram spent eight years advising clients on corporate and M&A transactions with Skadden Arps and Sidley Austin in New York. Ram is involved in several community based initiatives relating to education and health and his children are all at the ISH.


Scott Norling

Scott is the Promoter and Managing Director of 4B Serve a company specializing in media communication. He is a coalition builder, educator and pastor who has lived in India for over 30 years, serving the people of India through social service programs across the nation. Over the years he has built a number of churches, schools and developed infrastructure in small village communities including roads, sanitation systems and hospitals.


Anil Bhansali

Anil Bhansali is the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s Cloud & Enterprise Division & Managing Director of Microsoft India (R&D) Pvt Ltd.
Anil holds a post graduate degree in Computer Science from SUNY, Stony Brook and has been with Microsoft from 1991. In a career spanning more than two decades he has worked in multiple technologies like Office, Search, Windows and Azure. In his current role Anil is leading efforts in Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise division to drive Azure growth with primary focus on AI technologies to drive digital transformation in key verticals like Healthcare, Agriculture and Education. He is on the Board of Advisors for the Srini Raju Center for IT and Networked Economy, a research centre at Indian School of Business which aims to foster research in (ICT) to create value for business and society. He is also on the Board of Directors of Hyderabad Eye Care Institute (LVPEI).

Anil is committed to the cause of improving the quality of education and health care for the under-served in India. He is the co-founder for Ansh Foundation that runs mobile libraries for schools in Hyderabad and on the Board of Trustees for the Rikhab and Ratan Charitable Trust which support initiatives in education and healthcare.

When not at work, Anil spends time with his wife Shobha and two teenage boys Aditya and Eshaan. He is also an avid trekker he has been to the Annapurna and Everest Base camp. He is also a marathon runner and has completed several national and international marathons including the New York marathon.
